Question to ask RDA

Atlantis

Well Known GateFan
So, in November I will get a chance to say thank you to Richard Dean Anderson, Amanda Tapping and Michael Shanks and also get a chance to have a photo taken.

I am at a loss at what questions to ask but it needs to be something that everyone enjoys.

Everything has been asked but I dont want to ask a dumb question or something they have heard before. Any help?

Ask him if he regrets sticking it in crazy ("Heather") on General Hospital.

Ask them if they'll pay a visit to Gatefans for a chat. ;)

You're not going to get drunk, take your bra off, throw yourself at RDA and fall down are you? :icon_e_confused:

Bro, what do you take me for?! You know I come prepared. I won't be wearing a bra in the first place.

That is a rude question to ask c'mon dude.

Did you not see where Heather put LSD in Diana's drink? That is the definition of crazy! Thank God little PJ was there to mix up the drinks and Heather got hoisted on her own petard! Jeff (RDA) had to have her committed to a sanitarium! :icon_e_surprised: Read the Wiki!!!

But whatever, I didn't know the questions had to be G-rated. Sorry about that. Perhaps you could ask him what he remembers of his time on General Hospital before he got into scifi roles. :icon_razz:

Ask him if he got along with Brad Wright. :anim_59: Something tells me no.

Guest Q&As
Once the photo sessions have finished, everyone will be called back into the auditorium so that the Guest's Question and Answer (Q&A) can begin. There may be one or two guests on stage at a time, depending on the number of guests appearing at the event. They will appear on stage to talk and answer your questions for approximately one hour (again, this may change depending on the number of guests). We ask that attendees keep the questions relevant, interesting and appropriate. To have a better idea of what is and is not appropriate, please check out our Etiquette guide.
3. Do not ask self-centred questions
Our guest celebrities take questions from the audience during their on-stage time. Ask questions that everyone (including the celebrity!) will find enjoyable, interesting and entertaining. Asking for hugs, telling stars we love them, giving gifts and getting into long personal stories etc is not acceptable at these kinds of conventions. It is, in fact, quite self-centered when you are in essence "representing" all of fandom to a celebrity.

4. Please refrain from asking the quests questions about the following:
Sex, finances, politics, personal religious beliefs or personal relationships. These are very touchy and personal subjects and can make the guests uncomfortable. Also, should you ask a question and the guest seems uncomfortable about it, or dodges the question, then please leave it alone. They do not have to discuss anything that they do not wish.

Did he like being the lead of Mac Guyver better or worse than being the lead of O'Neill in Stargate SG-1?

Aask him what his favorite episode of Sg1 and which one was the biggest pain to shoot!

Well look at that. Apparently RDA's got a sense of humour.

Maybe you could ask: "Did the cast and crew of Stargate ever play pranks/practical jokes on each other and if so, which was the best one?"
Shanks would no doubt be involved there. :)

Convention was a great experience. Gary, Michael, and Amanda were very funny and Richard was probably the most warm person there despite not being able to remember anything from sg-1. He mentioned how the new Macgyver team never approached him.

Someone else already asked that question sadly so I could not know. I found it interesting that Amanda actually had to learn the science first before acting the role.

Gary (Walter) mentioned that he and Richard Dean Anderson are going to start in a sci-fi comedy show so I am interested to know what kind of concept that will be and Amanda is returning in her role in Travelers.

They also mentioned that these days that there is a lot more grittiness and dark fantasy and fiction these days and that the times of writing humour has gone sadly, and they wanted to make the show Fun to watch as well.
