and while they are at it...

NF has room for many more useful user info 'apps'

like say a home page that gives you more info, like a list of when movies or shows or NF originals will be released

or, how about a sep category that is searchable under 'netflix originals'?

there is no such category on NF--amazon has one, why is NF so 'aloof' with finding their content? especially for paying members.

I agree. The Netflix search function sucks donkey balls. It's tedious and not user friendly.

I don't think it's possible to "binge" watch TWD. I think it would be more akin to "coma" watching the show.

Agree . Just watch the first and last ep and save your self many hrs of extremely boring zombie TV ...

I absolutely hate the Netflix interface. Especially on a TV. Try typing in a specific search term. Every letter you punch in you have to wait 5 seconds while Netflix searches for you before you ever ask it to. Horrid user interface design. When just browsing the interface is different every day. Always showing some bullshit categories that I'm not even remotely interested in.

the only way i have found to tweak the suggestions is to rate (1-5 stars) the shows /movies you like. it does seem to help "correct" what is suggested.

though it can get stupid as well--once i rated a british show (some detective show with patrick stewart) and instead of giving me more Stewart or detective shows it suggested more BBC shows of all categories

amazon used to have a decent search, but now it is getting fuddled up since they have added in so many other pay to view services that you can view through amazon but are actually sep sites

Well, on UK Netflix we have all of Star Trek, not sure about US. So, there is that for me. Also I really do consider Sense8 as good Scifi and really looking forward to that coming back. I also enjoy their super hero show like Daredevil and Jessica Jones, however the latter is an acquired taste. I HATE the Netflix interface. It is so non-user friendly the company employees that are monitoring this site should be fired for not fixing it for this long.

This is what you do Netflix, it sucks. so fix it. It's also bullshit that they "hide" certain programs in their regular searches unless you know how to look for it. All this screams to me is kickbacks and I usually hate conspiracy theory crap. It feels very much like the pop stations that played the same songs over and over again and you missed out on the other cool ones until you long forgot about them.

Netflix really has huge potential, I hope they stop screwing it up before they can fix it

rate your fav's--like i told Ba'al and also, hit the function "find more shows like this" on the menu that appears once you go into the show, but just before you actually play it--I found a lot of good shows--watchable at least-that way

I have also noticed that on ROKU, NF is much easier to use in general then on their own website
