First, watch Star Trek Valiant...then reconsider! :smiley-laughing021: Those dividers they are using, I have one in my apartment! Literally, I could make that episode with my phone and my GoPro!

I am watching star trek hidden fronteir and can't but laugh my ass off. They are calling this the remastered version? If this is the remastered version, I don't want to see the version. :smiley-laughing021:

I was just about to say that. Spock in star trek continues is unbelievably bad.

For me the most lolworthy one is Star Trek Valiant. The "Kirk" they have...he must be imitating fat Kirk from Season 3! :smiley-laughing021: And they combined Spock and The Doctor into a single character! That room divider...LMAO! I have one exactly like it

This one had me in stitches. I kept expecting the captain to pull a sandwich from under his desk or to set course for the Restaurant at the End of the Universe.

I seem to be the only one who thinks he's the most decent fan-made series Spock.

I like him because the actor is such an unthreatening, yet intellectual guy. The Spock from STNV is a bruiser. He has the persona down pat, but he is tall and built which is very un-Vulcan-like. Still, I think the STC Spock has better acting chops.

I'm not sure I follow. I meant I like Spock from Star Trek Continues, which is the Spock from "Fairest of Them All" (mirror universe) posted in your samples above. Joe said he should be recast, not that he likes him.

Ok, that Spock. I think I like him the best. I was referring to this Spock

STNV_Spock2.jpg

He was the first Phase II/New Voyages Spock. And he was replaced by this Spock:

This is the current Star Trek New Voyages Spock. He is the one I call "bruiser" Spock. The Star Trek Continues Spock I think is my favorite and he has the best acting chops of the three IMO. He has chemistry with Vic Mignona's Kirk and Doohan and even their Uhura.

"Bruiser" Spock (I think) is New Voyages Spock and he is the one that seems to have gotten the persona down right. The Star Trek Continues Spock looks the part a bit better but to me is an appalling actor. He just gets all the mannerisms and such wrong.

In fact only a couple of weeks ago OM agreed with me in that assessment (of burly Spock):

I still agree. :) He gets everything right, but he looks more like a Ston than a Spock IMO. :cameron21:

This particular Trek fan film is one of the better produced, with great fan made sets. Only thing is, it's in German. :( At least it has English subtitles. :)

This is on the very low end, but it still shows what fans are willing to do with what they have available. I can actually watch stuff like this and enjoy it for what it is. Isn't that sad when I can no longer watch the Star Trek 2009 movie? :icon_e_surprised:
