Very sad indeed . I just found out and I did not even know he was ill :icon_e_confused:

he had been battling cancer for the past few years and only recently "retired".

Steve, you will be sorely missed by all geeks worldwide, as well as Apple fans. I fear that the vision for Apple has just gone blind forever. Apple is..."facepalm....without Steve Jobs. I cant stand Apple but it is going to be sad to watch them assimilate and then finally ape some other company.

...btw, where is Ape? (different subject, I dont want to derail).

I've been asking the same question. Not quite the same when he's not around to weigh in with his wit.

It's weird, I just read on BBC News and on the song Oasis - "(I'm) Outta Time" came up on my music player. Spooky. Even though I don't believe in Apple and their rather stylish but meh products, you can't doubt he did change the world and brought MP3 players to the masses who before 2001 didn't know such things existed.
