In the interview he discusses him being typecast into the role of data and expresses his opinions on it. The famous actor from Stargate Atlantis(David Hewlett) and Jewl Staite(Firefly,SGA) will star in a short new science fiction series. The new series will only be offered on the digital platform. The series will also consist of Five(5), Ten(10) minute episodes. Newswire is describing it as “using best traditional sci-fi storyline”.

The highly anticipated release of, the remastered version of Star Trek TNG, is going to raise a few eyebrows if the rumours are true. Rumour has it, the bluray release of Star trek will cost around £51(GBP).That’s around 81 USD. Though this story should be taken as a grain of rice.

Slashfilm is reporting that, BBC has chosen David Yates(the one who directed Harry potter) to make a big screen movie of Doctor Who.
Slashfilm is reporting that the film will start from complete scratch and will NOT continue from where Russell T. Davies and Steven Moffat continue the series from. So we will get a brand new Doctor;new sidekick,new everything.

Star Trek(2012) Won’t Start Filming Until January 2012

Got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that we’ve FINALLY received a date that is set in concrete,when the filming for the next star trek movie will start. The date? Well, it will start filming in January 2012. Now here is the bad news…If the film starts being filmed next year chances are we won’t see it in the cinemas till summer(June?) 2013. That is just an estimation though;it could be even later than that.

Doctor Who: Confidential Axed

Well this is a bit dis-heartening. BBCUK has decided to axe Doctor Who spinoff show, Doctor Who: confidential. The spin-off series, which mainly featured behind the scene footage is going to draw to a close to when this current season draws to a close. The reason being? The BBC is conducting some serious budget cuts all across the board, to maintain quality programming (Dancing with the stars is quality programming?) in it’s network. I for one don’t feel this move was necessary.
